Valentines Day... or should we call it SINGLE AWARENESS DAY! This time of year all the single ladies and all the free bachelors realize how single and lonely they really are looking at all the B.S. around them with cupid, hearts, love.... and it's all FAKE!! it's such a pointless day! Who needs Valentines Day?...it's such a Fallacy! 2/14 the date that people can not wait for! but let's take a step back and think about it... why are people so OBSESSED with a made up holiday!There is no significance to celebrating this day! This day originated from a PIMP type of priest who had multiple wives named St.Valentine, this guy wasn't even romantic! He got thrown in jail and was sentenced to death so his last letter he wrote to one of his many Lovers was signed "From Your Valentine". So where did we get this imagination of a romantic, Affectionate, Love-Filled day? Love doesn't bring nothing but trouble and strife! Let's Take for instance the St. Valentines Day Massacre... Does this sound like a romantic day? Or how about the Ancient Roman Festival that consisted of a sacrificial animal and the torturing & whipping of women with the thick, rough, heavy animal skin. Hey i guess nothing says I Love You like a good old fashion whipping or beating? But i mean if celebrating Valentines Day is your thing then you go right ahead and waste your money and time on a meaningless American tradition....
So you tell me....is love real?
